We had a truly beautiful day touring the Douro with Wine Tourism in Portugal. Everything was perfectly arranged for our comfort and enjoyment, and our guide Gabriel was exceptional — professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and engaging, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
The visit to Quinta do Carvalhas was excellent, with Ruth providing a pleasant and informative tour. Lunch was a highlight as well, with a pre-arranged menu in a beautiful restaurant that offered excellent food.
We also loved the private boat ride along the Douro. The crew was very welcoming and attentive, adding a special touch to the experience.
All in all, it was a five-star day that we highly recommend.

We had an incredible experience from start to finish. The assistance during the planning and conception of our trip was outstanding, and the level of customization made the itinerary feel truly tailored to us. Every detail, from the pace of activities to the quantity of experiences, was just right.

The hotels were excellent in both comfort and quality. We especially appreciated our driver, Gabriel, who was not only prompt but also very knowledgeable about the area. The wineries, dining, Six Senses, and the sailboat cruise were all highlights of our journey.

Every part of the day was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Lamego, the scenic road trip through the Douro Valley, the unforgettable lunch at Six Senses, and the peaceful cruise on the beautiful wooden boat. The river tour was a perfect way to take in the natural beauty of the region.

An amazing experience, truly the best we’ve ever had! Every detail was perfectly organized, making the days unforgettable.

You did an outstanding job planning all our activities, including the pottery class (with puppies!) and the cooking activity with the countess. Our drivers, Raphael, Rui and Joaking, were fantastic and we really enjoyed their company. The highlight of our trip was the luxury boat trip down the Douro River. That was absolutely fabulous! All the accommodations were wonderful, especially the Yeatman hotel in Porto, which had a classy wine tasting party one of the last evenings we stayed there.

We will definitely refer you to all our friends, and will keep you in mind for all our future travels.

Thanks for your email - we really enjoyed our trip from start to finish. Thank you for organizing it all so brilliantly, everything worked out perfectly. Jacinto was a courteous and patient driver and got us safely to all our destinations on time. The hotel in Evora was comfortable and of a nice quality - we appreciated some time to relax by the pool each day especially as it was so hot. All our trips were interesting and informative, and each gave us a different insight into wine and olive oil production in Alentejo, we particularly appreciated the tastings :) The highlight for us was the food - all the meals were excellent - especially the Herdade do Esporao with the wines to accompany the menu, probably the best meal we've ever had!

It was a highly memorable experience, thanks again for planning it all so well.

The tour through Porto, Lisbon, and Bairrada was exceptional, offering memorable experiences at every stop, guided by someone who knows the regions intimately. 

The whole tour from beginning to end was wonderful.  Our Driver Hugo was incredible, his humor was contagious. He is a delightful person who we came to know and befriend in the course of the trip. Hotel de la Rosa was also excellent, and we had lovely meals with local dishes in the evenings. A highlight among the winery visits was the cooking Workshop with charming young chef Joao, in which we prepared 4 different salads using local ingredients. The meal was delicious, including the salads and other dishes prepared by the chef due to time limitations. Another highlight was the tour of the vineyards at the winery Carvalhas. Our guide, a young woman, explained and demonstrated all the measures being taken for sustainability, as required by UNESCO to be a World Heritage Nature Site., which was very informative. Hugo at Pacheca also gave a very good tour. The wine tasting at do Crasto was most memorable, not only for the wine, but hosting it at s dining table used by the owners when they visit.

Sean and I just wanted to thank you for all your help in organizing our Portugal trip; we had an amazing time!🥰

The boat cruise was spectacular, and the crew took great care of us. The lunch spots were delicious, and we really enjoyed the food. 

The Portuguese cooking course with Countess Maria was an absolute delight! She was amazing, and the whole experience was out of this world. We felt very spoiled!

I would give the whole experience 5 stars, and we will recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you for making this such a superb vacation for us; you've been wonderful to work with, and the trip was one of our best.
