Quinta de la Rosa is a distinguished prime location property in the Demarcated Region of the Douro.
Quinta de La Rosa was built in an unusual location, on a hill with steep stairs that connect the different levels besides the Douro River. Here it is produced the wine that is provided to some of the most important Restaurants and Retailers all over the world.
In Detail
The Bergqvist family has been making Port wine since 1815. The Quinta de La Rosa estate was offered as a baptism gift to Claire Feuheerd, Sophia's grandmother, in 1906. This is a family-owned wine producer's estate that offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy and relax in a unique atmosphere.
Guests can stay in the traditional family House or in the new and more modern building. The Quinta has two more houses: Lamelas (6 places) and Amarela (10 places), which offer alternative accommodation and conditions for bigger parties or rentals by the week. For those who cannot stay, the Quinta offers tours with wine tasting or serves lunches or dinners with tour and wine tasting included - advanced booking is required.

Location & Directions
From Porto, take the exit to freeway A3/toward route E82/Valença/Braga/V. Real/A4/Valongo. Take the exit to freeway A4 towards Vila Real/Valongo/Ermesinde and then take exit 18 towards Mesão Frio/Régua. Take national road 101 and then national road 108 until Peso da Régua. Cross the bridge over the Douro river and follow national road 222 until reaching the exit to national road 323 towards Pinhão. Once in Pinhão, follow the signs to Quinta de La Rosa.
