Established in 2004, the Garantia das Quintas agricultural society dedicates itself to the development and marketing of several products of the viticulture area.
Quinta de Santa Cristina is owned by this company and has a century-old history. It belongs to the same family for several generations. It is the result of the great passion and dedication of the members of this family and the products produced and represented by Garantia das Quintas prestige the company, enforcing the meaning of his name: Garantia (Warranty).
Its vast vineyard, with 60 hectares of integrated production, is located mostly in Celorico de Basto, between the vineyards and the forest. The Quinta boasts a unique environment between the mountains of Fafe, Marão, Alvão and Cabreira and the right bank of the River Tâmega, inviting to quietness and harmony between wines and nature.
Throughout the property there are several points of interest that are part of the trails and guided tours available to visitors.
The winery, built from scratch in 2014 and with an installed capacity of 1 million litres, produces about 500,000 litres of white, red and rosé wines and sparkling wines that have been awarded multiple awards and distinctions in national and international contests. The wines feature the work of the renowned oenologist Jorge Sousa Pinto.
The visitor thus has the possibility to get involved in the countryside aroma and discover how the wines are produced by following the traditional route of the grapes from the vineyard to the traditional foot treading mill in the cellar.

Quinta de Santa Cristina in located in Veade, Celorico de Basto.
From Oporto, take the A4 motorway to Amarante/Vila Real, take the exit to Celorico de Basto/Amarante West and follow the Tamega route. Turn right towards Britelo, entering the national route N101-4, and then turn left into the M616-1 route. You will find the Quinta on the left about 1 km ahead.
