Libertu's is a 10, 5 meters (34 ft.) Dehler sailing ship with a 14 meters (45 ft.) mast and with a maximum capacity for 12 people and is luxuriously equipped with 2 rooms - so you can extend your experience - a lounge area, kitchen and wc. You will also have the chance to taste Douro wines on board, while you savour the exquisite catering service of Douro à Vela.

Besides the sailing ship trips on the Douro river, Douro à Vela also includes in its strategic plan other complementary activities such as cultural and landscape touring, gastronomy and wines, organization of events in connection with the Quintas, Wine Collections and Museums. As such, the presence at trade shows, exhibitions and events related to tourism has become real during this recent and striking experience in the Douro.

Douro à Vela offers you a luxury10, 5 meters (34 ft.) Dehler sailing ship with a 14 meters (45 ft.) mast equipped with two rooms, lounge, kitchen and wc. Has capacity to navigate with up to 12 people and 4 people can stay overnight.

Locations & Directions

Take the N222 national road towards Folgosa / Armamar,that connects RéguatoPinhão. After passing the dam of Bagauste, located about 10 minutes from Régua, follow to the piers of Folgosa do Douro, near DOC Restaurant.

Conditions

• The partner reserves the right to cancel or amend the booking:

  
  
• For acts beyond its control, such as adverse climatic or unfavourable navigation conditions, damage on the vessels locks, malfunction and damage on the vessels and others that prevent or advise against navigation, for security reasons; 
•  Failure of third party services.

In these cases, you can choose between the reimbursement of the amount you have paid or for another trip suggested by partner.

Exception: In case it is not advisable the navigation with the sailboat due to adverse weather conditions, the Douro à Vela reserves the right to change the vessel without any prejudice for the company.

• Changes are subject to a price change:

• If a change occurs 30 days before departure, the amount of the trip will be reviewed and changes may be made according to the availability of the partner.
• If the change occurs during the 30 days before departure, you may lose the right to change and to reimbursement, if any.
• The change can be accepted by the partner, if it does not involve damage to the company.
